my first blog...

hello to all who are reading..fingers crossed that someone is actually reading this!

first of all coming up with a name for this blog was so hard. i think i tried about 10 names before i settled on this...the reason i chose Erin's glass slipper was mainly because i have always loved Cinderella! back in high school i was to say the least obsessed. i had a Cinderella watch that i wore everyday, i bought numerous figurines, had Cinderella t-shirts and to this day i still drink my morning coffee out of my Cinderella coffee mug! i would consider a tattoo but really hate when people have cartoon character tattoos...go figure! secondly i just plain love shoes! any of you who have been to my apartment and seen my closet know that i have a bit of a shoe problem...the first step is admitting it right??

anywho..the main reason i started this is because i think by writing is a great form of expression and a good way to work through issues....god knows i have a few!! :) so to whomever reads this i hope you follow and enjoy the ups and downs of my life!
